RustyOilcan is an Irish Performance Racing League driver and the PRL record holder for most starts, with 400 starts, four wins, 34 podiums, and one pole position.
Racing continuously since Season 1, RustyOilcan made a first recorded start with Alfa Romeo and has since appeared for McLaren, Williams, Red Bull, Haas, Alpine, Sauber, Racing Bulls, and Audi. Previously racing under the Norwegian flag, RustyOilcan currently competes as an Irish driver and has spent most of the career with the Alfa Romeo/Sauber/Audi operation.
RustyOilcan received the Tier 2 Driver of the Season award in Season 4, the Tier 2 Terrible1fi Sportsmanship Award in Season 5, and Tier 1 Most Improved Driver awards in Seasons 6 and 8. RustyOilcan’s first win came in Season 3, followed by a Tier 1 win at Monza in Season 8 and further Tier 2 victories, including at Suzuka in Season 15. Season 15 also brought multiple Midweek Tier 2 podiums, while Season 16 included additional Tier 2 podium finishes. Continuing with Audi in Season 17, RustyOilcan recorded multiple runner-up finishes at Madring.
